At West Highland Farms, our herd is at the heart of everything we do. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of West Jefferson, North Carolina, our family-run farm is dedicated to raising mini Highland cows and Highpark cattle with hands-on care and attention.

Our herd includes unique cattle with different colors, sizes, personalities, and genetics. We take pride in providing a calm, caring environment where our animals can grow and thrive on open pastures.

Meet Our Highland & Highpark Herd

Our herd features mini Highland cows, miniature Highland cattle, and Highpark cows. Each animal has its own personality and characteristics, making our herd special.

From fluffy Highland cows with their distinctive coats and horns to unique Highpark cattle, we enjoy raising animals that bring character and charm to the farm. Our goal is to provide quality cattle for families, hobby farms, homesteads, and those who simply appreciate these beautiful animals.

Raising Mini Highland Cows With Care

We believe that raising cattle is about more than simply caring for livestock. Our animals receive hands-on attention and are raised in a natural farm environment with access to open pastures and clean mountain air.

Mini Highland cows are known for their fluffy coats, distinctive horns, calm nature, and smaller size. They can be a great fit for small farms, hobby homesteads, and families looking for unique pasture animals.

Our Highpark Cattle

Along with our Highland herd, West Highland Farms raises Highpark cattle. These distinctive cattle are part of our growing herd and offer a unique combination of traits that appeal to cattle enthusiasts and small-farm owners.

We provide individual information for our cattle whenever available, helping you learn more about each animal before deciding which one may be right for your farm or homestead.
